The energy was high yesterday as The Pulse hosted their
annual Spinathon!
Raising a record high, $1230.75, the passion and enthusiasm from
participants and volunteers alike, was simply amazing.
All the proceeds are going to support #MacKidsToCamp under
the McMaster Athletes Care umbrella. These specific funds are going to fund the nutrition program, so the kids are fueled with nutritious meals while being active all day.
Each summer, McMaster hosts summer camp for underprivileged
kids in Hamilton. These funds assist with all that goes along with running a
summer camp and help ensure the kids have a positive experience. We believe this is more than just summer camp, as these kids are exposed to positivity, new learning opportunities, and get a chance to experience being in a post-secondary environment. One of the goals of these camps is to show these kids that their dreams can be achieved.
Below are a few pictures from the day to show the event’s
success!
We appreciate all of the support! If you missed out, don’t
worry, you can still donate here!

See you again next year!
